Introduction

DECN Qualification system is aimed at establishing corporate standards and international best practices to deliver overall customer satisfaction and continually strengthened efficiencies in managing vendor relationship for mutual benefits DECN Qualification System is aimed at establishing criteria for evaluation, selection and monitoring performance for participation in tendering process.
DECN system seeks to evaluate and verify Vendors’ fulfillment of legal / statutory requirements, technical capabilities, financial strength, ethical / reputational aspects and QHSE Management Systems requirements DECN Qualification system is geared towards generating a central Data Base that meets business needs and our strategic subcontracting goal.

Evaluation and Selection Process

DECN evaluation and selection Team is composed of multidisciplinary experts which evaluate Vendor on documental basis and, if required, conduct facility assessment visit on Vendor. In the event of assessment visit, Vendor is informed about any observations and non-conformities detected during the visit and is given agreed time frame to close out. Recommended measures are advised to be put in place in order to fulfil the required DECN Corporate standards and international best practices.

Qualification Status

Qualified vendor is notified on registration status, scope of service registered for and assigned unique code. Vendor that has non-conformities is placed on conditional approval status pending closure of non-conformities.

Re-evaluation and Engagement

Vendor is re-evaluated after validity period of 3 years from the approval date to revalidate its registration status prior to further engagement or award of any other contract.

As much as we would like to patronize your services, also note that this registration is not a guarantee for patronage or award of contract. Furthermore, failure to perform satisfactorily on awarded contract could result to blacklisting.
