1978

Daewoo Nigeria Limited is a subsidiary of Daewoo E & C South-Korea was incorporated. As an EPC leader, it began executing complex and diverse projects in Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria. Thereby executing a total of 70 projects and still counting.

1983

In October 1983, Daewoo Nigeria Limited was awarded the contract by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to execute the civil works and permanent buildings for the Carbon Black & H.F Alkylation Plant project of the NNPC Petrochemical PH I (Carbon Black & H.F Alkylation) plant in Warri Delta State.

1988

In February 1988, Daewoo Nigeria Limited was awarded the Escravos – Lagos Gas Pipeline measuring 28” by 30km contract by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to execute the Civil & Piping Works for the Crude Oil Facilities in Escravos, Delta State.

In February 1988, Daewoo Nigeria Limited was awarded the Rehabilitation of Tanks and Bundwalls contract by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to execute the Tank Pad Foundation, Dike Filling & Lining and Road Construction Works of Crude Oil Storage Tanks in Escravos & Warri, Delta State.

1995

In December 1995, Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) awarded the South Forcados Flowstation Development contract to Daewoo Nigeria Limited for the Construction of New Flowstation and Ancillary Facility with capacity of 60,000 BPD at Forcados Terminal, Forcados, Delta State.

1995

In December 1996, TSKJ J/V awarded the Nigeria LNG Project – Train 1 & 2 contract to Daewoo Nigeria Limited for the Erection of Equipment, Piping Steel Structure for Two (2) Units of LNG Process Train at Bonny NLNG Terminal, Bonny Island, Rivers State.

2000

In February 2000, TSKJ J/V awarded the NLNG Train 3 LNG Expansion Project to Daewoo Nigeria Limited for the EPC of Civil & Mechanical Erection Works of LNG Process Train #3 with capacity of 2.88 MMTPY at Bonny LNG Terminal, Bonny Island, Rivers State.

2000

In June 2002, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation awarded The Rehabilitation of Fire Damaged NNPC Crude Oil Tank (TK107) Contract to Daewoo Nigeria Limited for the EPC Rehabilitation of Damaged NNPC Crude Oil Storage Tank at Escravos Terminal, Escravos, Delta State.

2005

In January 2005, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited awarded the Bonny Terminal BRT Expansion Project Contract to Daewoo Nigeria Limited for the EPC Works for the Expansion of Existing Bonny Terminal from Site Development to the completion of 65,000 bbl/d Fraction Train & associated Utilities and 300,000 bbl/d pentane Plus Storage Tank at Bonny Terminal, Bonny Island, Rivers State.

2005

In November 2005, Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria awarded the AFAM VI Combined Cycle Power Plant Project Contract to Daewoo Nigeria Limited for the EPC Works for 670MW Combined Cycle Power Plant with Three (3) Units of G/T 150MW and One (1) Unit of S/T 220MW at Afam, Oyigbo, Rivers State.

2006

In January 2006, Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria awarded the Gbaran Ubie IOGP – EPC for CPF, New Manifolds and Remote Locations Project Contract to Daewoo Nigeria Limited for the EPC Works of the CPF, New manifolds & Remote Locations for Gbaran/ Ubie Integrated Oil & Gas Development with capacity Oil 120,000 bbl/d and Natural Gas 1 bscf/d at Gbaran/ Ubie in Bayelsa State.

2007

In January 2007, Daewoo Nigeria Limited was awarded the Escravos Gas to Liquids Process Plant (K001) project contract by Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) for the EPC works (Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical & FIR Proofing for the Process Plant with capacity 320 MMscf/d comprising Diesel 22,100 bpd, naphtha 10,300 bpd & LPG 900 bpd at Escravos Terminal, Delta State.

2013

In April 2013, Daewoo Nigeria Limited was awarded the Indorama Fertilizer project contract by IEFCL for the EPC for Fertilizer Plant Comprising Ammonia Synthesis 2,300 MTPD, Urea Synthesis 4,000 MTPD & Feed Conditioning Unit at IEFCL, Eleme, Rivers State.

2014

Daewoo Engineering & Construction Nigeria Limited is a subsidiary of Daewoo E & C South-Korea was incorporated on 28th October, 2014, out of the need for more Nigerian ownership of Daewoo in Nigeria making it truly a Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Service Company. As an EPC leader, it began executing complex and diverse projects in Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria.

2018

In May 2018, Daewoo Nigeria Limited was awarded the Indorama Fertilizer Plant Phase 2 project contract by IEFCL for the EPC for the IEFCL Fertilizer Plant Comprising Ammonia Synthesis 2,300 MTPD, Urea Synthesis 4,000 MTPD & GT-5 32MW GT 1 at IEFCL, Eleme, Rivers State.
