Demolition of Material Offloading (MOF) 2 General Cargo Berth

In October 2019, Daewoo Engineering & Construction Nigeria Limited was awarded the Demolition of Materials Offloading (MOF) 2 General Cargo Berth project by Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) 

Project Scope:

This contract scope covered the following areas:

- The Cut and break reinforced concrete elements of the GCB Jetty to rubbles, remove existing steel piles & separate reinforcement bars.

- Dispose separated concrete rubbles, steel piles and reinforcement bars at the NLNG Waste Yard (IA) and at the Finima Nature Park (RA).

- Conduct post demolition survey and provide detailed drawings & coordinates of existing steel piles after removal of the concrete topside.

- Conduct post demolition survey to confirm no left-over objects/concrete debris on the river bed.

This project was completed and commissioned in September 2020.
